Lamplight is a dark web information network. Visitors can pay sums of money for information on their targets. Depending on the information asked for, the asking price rises exponentially.
OOCly, Lamplight is a plot device. The information available on a character is submitted by the player. If there's information about your character that you want other characters on the dark web to be able to search up, this is the place!
The "price points" for info limit the information players want to disseminate:

Green - Low price. OOCly, any character that uses the dark web can purchase this information without explicit permission from the player.
Gold - medium price. Contact player to get the OK before assuming a character bought this information.
Red - exorbitant price. OOCly requires permission from the player, possibly more planning than gold.

ICly, information contributors receive payment for submissions, with more for verified info and less for rumors.
The courier is also run by Rei's technomancy AI and not Rei himself, so it's hands-off. (translation: rei will not infomod protected character tiers LOL)

ALIASES: Demon Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi. People from one of the many Earths in the multiverse who are from his time (1860s) or later may recognise his name and know that he's a samurai with a pretty fearsome reputation.
MAGIC TYPES: Elemental & Death
FAMILIAR: Crow Tengu named Arashi who seems to excel in the use of wind magic. He's elusive and has only been seen a handful of times so far, but in combination they make for a powerful familiar fusion.

WEAPONS / FIGHTING STYLE: Sword (a Japanese katana) combined with elemental magic. He's a skilled and aggressive fighter.
