Building is built around a particularly large tree in one corner. There are bird perches throughout, as Rei's familiar (the cafe's sort of namesake) likes to stop by and keep an eye on things. Other bird familiars are welcome to use them as well.

performance area. tickets sold for attendance. accessible by both stairs and elevator. raised stage for performers. audience seating provided depending on performance genre. room capacity ~300. area is more sparsely decorated than first floor to leave room for sound equipment and acoustics; most atmosphere is provided with lighting.

Izumi Tachibana's acting troupe occasionally puts on performances at the Roost. Recordings of those performances are available (exclusively :3) in the Roost's records store.
