PERSONALITY

Rei's foremost trait is his confidence-- or arrogance, depending on your perspective. He's full of himself, and it's obvious from the way he carries himself-- attitude, dress style, and all.

When it comes to interacting with other people, Rei is actually pretty easy to talk to-- he's a bit of a social chameleon, blending to whatever mood his conversational partner sets. Behind that easy-going speaking style, though, is a never-ending calculation and sizing-up of who he's speaking to: an undercurrent that can make any chat a bit tense if it's picked up on.

While for all intents and purposes Rei looks like the kind of guy with whom violence goes hand in hand, he's actually not fond of it. Living through (and for some years, working for) a world war will give you enough of that for several lifetimes, and he'll chide (albeit jokingly) others for behaving roughly as well. That's about the only hard limit his moral compass seems to have, though-- emotional manipulation, white collar crime, and ethical quandaries a la cloning humans are all par the course for Rei. Whether or not he regrets any of those things remains to be seen.

HYPNOSIS MICROPHONE WIELDING

Rei is old but he can rap with the best of them (lmao). Now that he has altered his Mic to work with the magic of Avalon, he often uses it to cast his spells.

BIOENGINEERING

Rei is responsible for the invention of both the Hypnosis microphone technology (which affects the body's nervous system through audio) and for creating fully-grown human clones (yikes lol). He hasn't practiced it much in Avalon except to more finely tune his Mic.

DARK MAGIC

Avalon gifted Rei with the ability to use dark magic, meaning curses, hexes, jinxes and the like. He's had a year to get used to it and has become pretty proficient. Most of his hexes are comedic in nature, used mostly to bolster his spam letters, but he can use it to sap a target's energy, manipulate shadows, temporarily blind opponents, and more.

TECHNOMANCY MAGIC

Avalon gifted Rei with the ability to use technomancy, meaning he can interface with tech systems much more easily. This has become Rei's primary magic, used to fuel his dark web info network and generally keep himself untraceable online. He has also fashioned it into a Siri-like AI assistant he calls Iris.

REWARDS INVENTORY

Wire Writhe spell - target is captured and restrained with cables/wires from any nearby technology.
Dry Spell - produces an umbrella-like magic shield above the target to keep them out of the rain :)
P in Perfume by Arm*ni - Spray this perfume on to make yourself incredibly attractive to anyone who gets into smelling-distance. You can't make them do anything with you, but they will definitely find themselves turned on by your presence. Be sure to only use a reasonable amount, as it can invoke a competitive spirit among those who are affected.
Protective Bracelet - protects you from the effects of a single potion passively, so you're protected whether you know you're consuming it or not.
